Tutorial: Setting Up Your First Organization
Create and configure an organization in Ever Gauzy.
What You'll Learnβ
- Create a new organization
- Configure basic settings (currency, timezone, date format)
- Set up departments and positions
- Invite team members
Step 1: Create Organizationβ
- After login, go to Settings β Organizations
- Click Add Organization
- Fill in:
- Organization Name β your company name
- Currency β default currency (e.g., USD)
- Date Type β preferred date format
- Time Zone β your timezone
- Click Save
Step 2: Upload Logoβ
- In the organization settings, click the avatar area
- Upload your company logo (recommended: 256Γ256px PNG)
- Save changes
Step 3: Configure Date & Timeβ

Step 4: Set Up Departmentsβ
- Go to Organization β Departments
- Click Add Department
- Create departments:
- Engineering
- Marketing
- Sales
- Operations
- Add managers to each department
Step 5: Create Positionsβ
- Go to Organization β Positions
- Add common positions:
- Software Engineer
- Project Manager
- Designer
- Marketing Specialist
Step 6: Invite Team Membersβ
- Go to Organization β Invite
- Enter team member emails
- Select their role (Employee, Manager, Admin)
- Click Send Invitations
Invited users will receive an email with a registration link.
Step 7: Configure Featuresβ
- Go to Settings β Features
- Enable/disable features based on your needs:
- β Time Tracking
- β Task Management
- β Invoicing
- β CRM
- Toggle others as needed
